I weighed in at about 160 pounds. I had little to no muscle toning in my body and ate out frequently.  When I ate out, I didn’t monitor what I was eating. 

 

I felt uncomfortable with my body and what I was seeing in the mirror.  As a teacher, I also felt it was important to be healthy, not only for myself but to set an example for the students I work with. Having a hectic schedule made it difficult to work out alone, but with a trainer, I felt someone could hold me accountable. I was also trying to reach a level of fitness that I would not have otherwise been able to attain on my own. 

 

Training has helped with my own personal body image.  Although I’m not at the point where I would like to be ultimately, I feel much better when I look in the mirror or have to put a bathing suit on.  I am now more aware of what I eat and how it can affect me. I make it a point to meal prep on Sundays so I am not tempted with my daily meals throughout the week. I was able to lose over 20 pounds and gain muscle definition in different areas of my body.  – Maggie Flores
